May I commend to the group the photo of Esteban Chaves on the cover of this month’s Procycling? I think you may like it.

My HRM-Run has died, I think. It's lasted really well, around 3 years with a battery or two. Anyone found a reasonable alternative, or am I going to have to splash £75?

Certainly at least *think* about a Viiiiva 4iiii. Dreadful name, great product if you cycle too. Its like a cross between an HR strap and a babel fish. It eats Ant+ and excretes Bluetooth - so you can get the Wattbike at your gym to talk to your Garmin. |

Having loved my Fenix 3 for the last 3 years I'm having to send it back to Garmin to be replaced its been giving me very dodgy elevation gains for the last few weeks , totals I'd be very happy with but are way over the actual - tried lots of things having researched on google and then did some "chat" with Garmin support yesterday and did a full reset which they thought would fix it but alas my club run last night was defo not 3485ft of elevation so they've offered me a £126 refurbed replacement which will then come with new warranty so cant complain too much.

They offered to send me a 'new' 235 for £86 when I queried the battery on it, I am sure it was a 3m warranty with it. But I bought a refurbed Fenix 3 on Amazon and that has a 12m warranty |

Hi all me again! I’ve been talking to a chap at work about my broken foot. He had a ruptured Achilles last year and said his fenix 5 is excellent as it tells him how much he uses his foot in comparison to his good foot (he explained it in more technical terms but I forgot them) he said he’s now about 49/51 at start of a run but drips to 46/54 and he said how useful it’s been to keep an eye on his foot improving over time. Any idea what stats this is and I’ll see if the fenix 3 does it too he said you need the run HRM thank you in advance |
