What a scorcher! That was my 21st running of the race and second slowest. I finished in 1.28.07 according to my Garmin.

Holy crap that heat! Stopped looking at the time part of my Garmin at the halfway point, was all about just finishing at that point. Was a lovely course though, and fantastic marshals with superb water points given everyone was using them.

I only saw one person who was really, really struggling but my mate (who was running his first 10 miler, I apologised for picking it!) who was further back saw a fair few people in real trouble  It was tough no doubt though, One woman just ran into a stream and laid down

The photo website seems very odd. All I see is bikes, with no way of tracking down the New Forest ones as all his pics are in one album. Unless I'm missing something?
