I just noticed we were meant to get a horse brass. Gutted. I doubt I will be able to do it of its rescheduled. It's too far away and last weekend cost is a fortune and got a busy summer

When I turned up at the site, they gave me my horse brass as (ineffective) consolation. If we are scheduled to run another event together, I will bring it along for you RMO3B.

Just got an email (very long, can c & P if anyone doesn't get it and/or is interested as it does detail all the evnts leading up to the cancellation). Would have been nice to be offered a partial refund but guess they have already paid out for lots of things. Guess I should send back the timing chip? |

Don't know how I feel about this; it's not their fault; it's not our fault; we're 20 quid out of pocket (2 of us running) At least they're a Running Club and not some corporates like the recent high cost disasters, no names mentioned... |

A club mate did National 3 Peaks challenge recently and they were warned off going up Scafell Pike by Mountain Rescue so they headed down to Snowdon and completed their "2 peaks" challenge. The important thing is they followed safety instructions and didn't get injured; some other teams did ignore the advice and got into trouble and injured up Scafell Pike... Thank you for looking out our safety New Forest Runners... :o) |

Aah thanks john tovell Can I ask are the horse brasses stamped with 2012. If so then they won't reuse them For next year will they ? It's just I replied to their email Asking if I send a SAE can they send Me my brass and no reply ?? |

Thanks ok so they can't reuse !! Will chase them up I'm happy to put the postage stamps on jiffy for them to just put in postbox for me !
