Ticketyboo Jul 2011 12:06pm, 17 Jul 2011 43 posts	0 Ticketyboo A new half marathon to pencil into your race schedule. The inaugrual Neil McCover Memorial Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 9th October 2011 at 9am, start from Woodhead Park, Kirkintilloch.

Ticketyboo Jul 2011 12:51pm, 17 Jul 2011 44 posts	0 Ticketyboo I understand that it's primarily the old Luddon-Strathkelvin half marathon route from the 80's. Rough route is Kirkie, Milton of Campsie, Torrance, Bishopbriggs and back to Kirkie.

Based on that route it should be PB territory gentle uphill 1st half, so gentle downhill 2nd half, nice for a negative split All in the shadow of the lovely Campsie hills. There's a bit about Neil McCover in the entry form too. Should be a good run.
