Hi, I have just done my first ever Ultra. Rowbotham's Rotherham Round. In 11 hrs 25. I was going well ( for me ) until the last 10 miles. I wonder how others found it. A couple of faster runners said they had both taken about 1 hr longer than they thought they would.
If you did it,how did you get on?

Well done Andrew. I didn't run this race but my experience of my first 50 would have been similar to yours. 40 miles were fine, it got tough after that.

Well done AA. I did the RRR50 in 2007(ish). 11hrs 25mins is a very decent run out. When you doing a hundred? LDWA annual event is always good ;-)

Thanks Derby Tup. I have walked several LDWA 100s but have never thought of running one. May give it a go next year if my wife decides not to do it. She has her sights on The Dorset 100 2016.

Got something to say?
