It'll do. It'll probably be more pleasant than the Union Rooms, and I'll guess it'll be more reasonably priced than the Centurion.

well that's a bugger. after the farce with the training tops, I shouldn't be surprised about today's email but aaarrrgggghhhhh. Won't be bothering to do it in October, one marathon that month is enough for me already!

Seriously? That's utterly ridiculous. As many of you might know, I've declared a date for my 100th marathon. On my way to that I've meticulously put together a programme of races allowing me time with my family. Having moved to that weekend, not only does that race now become my 99th, but it is also less than a week before my 100th. If it's been bodged this badly once, it's more than possible for it to be bodged again, thus throwing my plans out, and also seriously pissing off my friends that have booked to be at Milton Keynes for my 100th marathon. I'm out! I'm going to see what, if anything, I can get from them. |

I've written to my bank asking for the payment to be disputed. No route, no venue, means no event and no contract as far as I'm concerned. It's fraud.
