I’ve moved one into the back garden. Bloody thing weights a ton. I’ve kept it upright as if I lay it flat I’m not certain I’ve the strength to pick it up again!

I have chucked out the remaining brassicas today except for the 6 red cabbage. I have a mega infestation of caterpillars. :-( I've watered the remaining cabbages with soapy water in an attempt to kill off at least some of the remaining little fiends, and then it'll be picking off by hand as and when.

I have however changed my opinion of at least some wasps, after watching them swooping in and attacking the caterpillars, presumably as food for their young.

In happier news, I've harvested lots of onions which are now hanging drying in the shed.

I have too many tomatos and am offloading windfall apples on anyone I can as I'm fed up with peeling them!

need to get out and start tidying and cutting back again, garden becoming jungle-like!

We have waaaay too many tomatoes, but it’s not that surprising as we had 35 plants (although 4 have blight). Overrun with courgettes too so I think we’ll be making chutneys later.

More cherry tomatoes picked, hubby saw cukes on the plant this morning. They're a bit short at the moment and I needed to water them. :)

My cukes are finishing! Plants are yellowing off now. Had a few good ones though. Well into my cherry and plum tomatoes. Courgettes are slowing down, butternuts are swelling nicely, leeks are ready too!
