no - not me this time! we had a message from someone asking where we were - they'd turned up at Cooper Park - it ain't been there for two years! and not mentioned in our publicity anywhere so don't know why they went there. |

there's always one that doesn't read the race info I was surprised by the number of people with headphones after the big bold bright red writing on entry central saying they were banned! real shame about the route diversion, mistakes happen, but gutting for the guys that had to run extra and will always leave a nasty taste. poor RD looked absolutely devastated! mind you it meant I got to lead the lady's marathon alongside Lesley C for a while which was good fun

I'm all for DQ-ing when there's clear info that headphones are banned. I had a long, tough lonely second half of that race and some music or stories would have been nice, but on those roads I can see why it's a bad idea!
