Son and I went last Friday - thoroughly enjoyed it - especially Palin and Cleese corpsing:)
There was a lot of video - sketches from original series, so in a two hour show (excluding interval) the Pythons were probably on stage for forty minutes, but it was put together well and was an excellent nostalgia-fest.
A small amount of new stuff - additions to or tweaks of original material.
They all gave the impression of thoroughly enjoying themselves which was good

I don't begrudge them it.
They're in their seventies - the show was put together well with the video running on neatly from the live sketches. There were also singers/dancers (after Idle did the Noel Coward "nice to have a penis" song, the chorus broke into a second verse - nice to have a vagina - with the words up on the screen for us all to join in). On occasions, Jones and Cleese in particular looked as if fitness was an issue. And to be frank I wanted to see the Spanish Inquisition, the dead parrot sketch, lumberjack song etc etc, rather than new stuff which may or may not have worked.
There were some nice touches; after the universe song - video of Brian Cox explaining how the content of the song was all wrong as a wheelchair gradually approaches from the distance and Stephen Hawking mows him down...
