Are these still a thing? Help me fellow fetches.

I've been away from running for a while, am back, doing about 40 miles a week, but just bought any old cheap trainers last time. They aren't really for me as they have too much cushioning, but it seems in my time away the super shoe/high heels have become the latest thing.

I don't want to pay more than £50 ideally and I want to feel the road. Any options anyone knows of? Possible brands. I'm happy to scout around for last seasons versions etc. I have big feet so can wear mens or womens.

I also don't buy Nike stuff anymore by preference if I can help it.

Ta for any help! 😎

Look at Altra but they are £50. I currently run in the Altra Kayenta and I like them.

Ah SPR thank you. Not a brand I've heard of. Will check out.

Oh I have remembered I have had the vanish R once before. Loved those, although the upper came slightly away from the sole at the end. Just a case of wait and see on ebay now for my size at a good price.

Altar for me too. I’ve a pair of Escalantes that have been going well, slightly cushioned but not too much
