Not tried Luna sandals geordiegirl, but I have bought from Atreyu about 6 months ago (lightweight training shoe from US). The cost and ordering process was way simpler than I imagined it would be, not sure if there are any complications that may have developed since then considering COVID/Europe situations, but went fine for me. One thing I would say is that if you are unsure on sizing or have any doubts, it's probably a lot more difficult to arrange a return. In fact I think Atreyu straight up don't offer return or exchange on international orders. Best of luck on tracking down a pair, would be interested to know how they are.

Supply issues in Bristol. I think I've ended up with the last pair of zero drop women's shoes!

Altra Escalante. I've seen them mentioned on here so will read back. Feel a bit springy.

gg, the other risk is that unless companies in the US are very smart on their shipping you may get hammered with tax when they come through customs.

Yeah that’s the issue although I still think it would be cheaper based on what I’m told the tax % would be.

I’ve found some Xero sandals might give them a try. I don’t want to spend too much at this stage.

Was fine picking up the pace for the final third of my long run today in the Rivera (about the pace I'd run on the first half of a progressive run) so think I'm getting used to it at a wider range of paces (although I still wouldn't pick it to go out for an all round faster run but that's not what it's designed for).

Rotating shoes for different runs was useful over the last couple of days as the Escalante got wet on Friday and the Kayenta got wet yesterday and didn't have to worry about making sure they were dry for the next day.

I took the plunge and ordered them as long as any taxes done exceed £50 I’ll break even.

I'm not keen on my Escalantes - too squishy. :(

Which version. I don't find the 2.5 squishy, 1.5 was.

I found the 2.5 feel a little softer than the 2.0. Didn’t find it an issue.

They don’t feel as secure though as they left off the top eyelet so you can’t do a locking lace arrangement.
