Noooo.

Can't find any originals anywhere, and they were only just about wide enough. Looks like I'm stuck in my pair held together by duct tape and shoo goo.

What size are you flanker? Centurion Store have a 9.5... Or amazon.co.uk seem to have most sizes

5mm narrower! Oo, don't like the sound of that. A fit scale 4 is just about OK for trail running and prefer a 5 for road. But these could be a little snug

It seems a hell of a change, esp as on the website they are still a '4' last.

I've just ordered a pair of the originals off Sportshoes. Shame they are the original red/grey ones rather than the far prettier blue ones!

As an update, I also bought some v1's before they sell out, as the new mesh is a bit warm compared to the old, and they are also narrower than my blue pair of v1's... Did they come in width fittings? Or have I just mashed them wider?

You've just mashed them :-)

I'm trying to make myself cover my new ones in shoo goo from the outset to protect where the mesh always splits, but it hurts covering nice new shoes in gunk!

BTW, been trying a pair of the G290 roclites as an alternative option. Far less cushioning and a wider toe box than the 235s. Might become my ultra shoe.

Anyone tried the Escalante 2.5? I know 2.0 was seen as not as good as 1.5. Just opened my last pair of 1.5s, should have bought a couple more pairs!

While I wasn't looking the H streets are back (in a fashion anyway).

Anyone tried?

eu.puma.com

They look a bit more built up than the older ones - worryingly a bit more like the frankly rubbish K streets , but on the plus side seems like a couple of ebay stockists using this opportunity to put the original old stock back on the market. Annoyingly, only as big as 7.5 (or 10.5), and despite being a 7.5 I really need 8s for H streets as my feet are wide.

The new ones are available in an 8 but not tried them. May well pick up a pair for the price though.
