If this goes ahead (given heavy snow forecast), is anyone actually intending turning up?

I've entered but, in conditions predicted, seems a little pointless.

It's been postponed so you'll avoid the pointless conditions.

Absolutely the right decision by FQEvents, if only for the sake of marshalls, medics and other volunteers. A noteworthy part of the course is on potholed paths, etc. With a covering of snow (and potentially ice), injuries could so easily have occurred.

My only slight criticism is that this cancellation should have been made earlier (before individuals staying overnight had travelled).

A difficult call to make, cancel too early and the weather doesn't follow the forecast which can change hourly...

Got something to say?
