Roped into doing a bit of marshaling at just after 10k when you had to run off the red path, onto the road and left at the roundabout. Didn't want anyone to fall on the kerb edge!! Will be avoiding foot bridges and underpasses for a while, but on the whole the route was fine, the organisation smooth, the stadium as a venue is inspired and I'll definitely be back. Missed my target 3:45 but scraped under 4 - no thanks to a as-it-turns-out stupid first half. Ho-hum. Writes out 100 times "Negative splits are a really good idea"

Very well organised, disappointed with my time....didn't like the dual carriage way parts, but loved the paths, parks etc. Partly due to heat, tiredness, tripping AGAIN, more undulations than expected and just general "blahs" it wasn't an enjoyable day for me, but that's not to say I wont return next year
