This race any good? Any places yet if anyone here is in the know?

My plans have changed now that the Wokingham Half has been cancelled, so I'm looking for a tough long run ahead of the Grizzly.

Hendo's your man, TMW. This one's apparently a right tough bastard, even tougher than Tougher than Nails Muddy Bastards 2014...

It's a tough one even when it's dry. Three attempts, one DNF, last year was the hardest race I've done (see mine and neems' blogs).

It's pretty much going to be 21 miles of wet stuff - all good. Great race.

No orange headband though. Or electric shocks. Or fire. There is tea and cake at the top of Butser Hill though.

We used to do the Plod route as a training run when my fiance lived in Southampton. At the tough end of trail running I'd say. Not one for your best racing flats ;-)

Instructive blogs... Will make sure I bring the appropriate kit!

Dare say it will be as muddy as 2013, just what I need for the Grizzly!

We're doing the Grizzly this year. How does it compare with the Plod?

This will be my first plod. I'd imagine the Grizzly to be harder due to the cliffs, shingle, river crossings, bogs etc but u think I will reserve judgement till after Sunday.

Plod is largely runnable. What I've seen of coastal path around Seaton - Branscombe I guess Grizzly might be harder ;-):-O
