Hi TT. It sounds like you are in a better place than before which is lovely to hear. We are all on a journey and like you I don't know if we ever 'get there'. Having a better understanding of ourselves and where our feelings are rooted is so powerful and that insight helps us relate to others. My anxiety has been creeping in a bit lately which is ironic given I feel I am in a good place generally. I can recognise all of the positive qualities and attributes I have to offer, but also acknowledge and accept the other parts of myself. Having a better understanding of myself means I can make choices which are healthier for me. For example I had a weekend away this weekend and whilst everyone else was doing 3 nights I knew that I wouldn't cope with that long with this particular group and chose to come home last night. I had a lovely weekend but it was absolutely the right decision. |

Thanks HP. Glad you are able to make such decisions. I feel for me improved connection with myself physically, spiritually and emotionally is a key ingredient in my healing and staying resilient. Just this week I spent one less day walking the coastal path than I could have and have respectfully declined, cancelled or avoided certain, situations, events and offers of socialising as I know the energy expended or received would be detrimental to my overall health. Much love all x |

Hello everyone. Is it really over three months since I posted, wow. A good sign for me though 😃 How are your hearts in this breath? 🙏 that a quiet thread is a good sign for you guys too or, at the least, you are talking, and being supported, elsewhere 💚 |

I know nobody has posted since August but I’m struggling today and just need a little spot to air that. All the negatives and baggage that I carry around are all right there today. I’m autistic and I struggle with loneliness and isolation some of the time. It’s just making me feel sad and worthless today, probably aggravated by tiredness and generally feeling under the weather. |

(((Jelly))) Sorry life is feeling on top of you. Even if you are feeling lonely remember you are not alone. You have friends here to share the load or just to sit with you in companionable silence if that’s what you need

Thanks guys! I’ve had an awful night where I’ve been tossing and turning since 1:25! I’m going to do my best to keep busy today, I’ve got a list of things I need to work through. |
