How much does the patch contain. If it's, say 150, it needs to stay on 3 x 24hrs.

The absorption is in micrograms, JC, and it's linear, you continue absorbing estradiol at a similar rate (allowing for significant variation between individuals and some variation due to the properties of the skin at the patch site) for the 3 or 7 day recommended application time for each patch, so ideally you need to keep it on for the entire time.

I’ve up to a 100 microgram patch now. It’s huge. At this rate I’ll be wearing one as a cape.

IT Granny - think I was in survival mode until the operation to remove stuff. Have observed that since the operation I have not suffered night sweats and am generally sleeping better. Skin has also vastly improved. I have taken a quarter of a tablet of progesterone (that had been prescribed to me before the operation) about 8 times after the op due to unexplained feelings of anxiety. This seems to have helped.

I've given in and submitted an econsult for trying HRT, fed up of feeling crabby and knackered!
