I'd associate that with ovulation TBH - I get pain with ovulation too. But am no expert in the range of what our bodies decide to produce and at what point!

I'd forgotten how annoying the abdominal discomfort 'mittelschmerz' can be. It feels like a constant tug low down and last night I was struggling to sleep after feeling hollowed out. Hot chocolate and home made ginger biscuits have improved my mood a bit this morning. But blergh... I feel better for a whinge on here too. I guess I should be grateful that my body still likes to think it's young and productive as I've mentally resigned myself to growing old disgracefully. |

It is a peculiarly annoying, dragging pain! I don't think everyone gets it. Pleased you feel a little better today. Home made ginger biscuits sound lovely.

I don’t think I get ovulation pain. If I ever have done, I probably would have thought it was some sort of intestinal cramp/trapped wind, which I do get from time to time.

I'm presuming that's what it is as I haven't had anything like it for such a long time and pretty much always sailed through having periods when I did. First I thought I was hungry, then maybe I'd pulled a muscle, but although it's similar, it's not quite the same. Feeling better after a bit of fresh air this lunchtime |

So sad and probably completely preventable bbc.in This story really struck a chord with me. I consider myself to be reasonably well informed about health issues but 6 months ago I knew next to nothing about the menopause. |
