Fragile Do Not Bend
Thanks RB. I’ve borrowed that book from the library but haven’t started on it yet. Wouldn’t hurt to have a copy I can keep.

Going to start doing some more reading on perimenopause, which is where I think I am. Cycle used to be like clockwork but is now pretty unpredictable, from 2 1/2 weeks (aargh) to 6 weeks. Also some night sweats on an erratic basis and poorer sleep and generally having a shorter fuse than I’ve ever had before! Do these ring a bell with other people? Would love to know!

Yep full house. And getting hairier at odd times was an added nuisance here

I find around 3am is my hairiest time My armpits are still saving me a fortune on Gillette Venus. My legs, however, have developed a new lease of life, and I swear my feet never used to be that hairy. I bought a "cool blanket" from Amazon recently - haven't had chance to use it yet as hasn't really been warm enough at night, I am usually OK with 5 mins of duvet discard, then back on, at this time of year. I have downloaded the Liz Earle book. I really must read at least one of my menopause books; my mum had osteoporosis and I really need to consider the options with HRT. |

Gardengirl that's me to a tee. Cycles from 16-60 days, totally unpredictable. Plus feeling I need a wee all night, total exhaustion and unexplained weight gain. All apparently normal but very annoying!

Absolutely T. Thanks for the encouragement everyone, glad I’m not alone in this strange new world. |
