A 7% improvement in your 2009 time shows that your Marathon training will continue to reap dividends. I didn't really think about them during the race, which I guess means they were just fine! No slipping at all, a slightly funny noise and odd feeling from the knobbly sole on tarmac. Felt quite sure footed on even the rocky bits. Think I'm going to like them
