Greg summed up what I think about risotto yesterday.
No matter how nice it is, there is no getting away from the fact that you have ladled some stock into a pan.
Hence my assertion that any chump can make a risotto. Ifanyu.

I like risotto. Getting the stock right and the consistency correct takes skill.
The best cook didn't win last night, but I guess it's all about TV and not cooking.
He doesn't need Masterchef as much as Masterchef need some blubbery lachrymose wreck of a woman who is likely to implode and ensure that a little bit of her goes into every plate of food.
