Mask watch. Can you see face masks?

However in reality, there are about one or two at the moment. Japan was probably 80-90% of people wearing them. Just had a masked lady get on at South Croydon. First one I’ve seen on my train so far....

McGoohan Mar 2020 8:04am, 16 Mar 2020 43,953 posts	0 McGoohan I saw someone in a full-face mask in Chatham a couple of weeks ago with eyeholes and a mouth-hole. It was a white mask with black edging to the holes. I nearly crapped myself - he looked like a zombie panda.

We have some masks at work. Not the effective sort, and we haven't been trained on how to wear them. Since we're not supposed to be seeing high risk patients the Medical Director's current instruction is that if we accept a patient with respiratory symptoms (because people with asthma and COPD will have non-coronavirus flare-up and need seen) the patient has to wear the mask.

Hers was a fetching gas mask which looked like it came from a dress up box. I thought maybe they were off to a coronavirus themed party, they were probably in the supermarket buying Corona beers... Other than that there haven’t been that many around, uni usually has a few masks most of the time anyway since there are a lot of students from Southeast Asia.
