Great event only spoiled by first DNF a injury to my left hamstring meant i finished at the start of the last lap. Felt something was wrong around 18 miles or so then at around 22 I had to stop running due to a pain in the left hamstring tried to get running again but couldn’t so decided to call it a day when I finished that lap. Very disappointed but that’s sport I suppose. A really good well organised event and I will be back next year. Today leg feels good and my legs in general feel like I could go out and run. Time to take reflect learn and plan for April 22 and my next marathon |

Thanks minardi The weather here in cleethorpes has been changeable to say the least. Felt sorry for those running today. Nice spot on the muntjac becca7 I assume it was on the golf course. That’s where I saw my first one a few years ago |
