Decide to change from the half to the full marathon on the Sunday. Great work by DeeGee and the timing guys sorted it out in no time. Going to say sub 3:30 as a sensible pace but tempted to try sub 3:20 and see what happens

Good luck riggys99, I'm sure you will smash it. I'm going to have to be a DNS, I'm sorry to say. After my diabolical Medoc, I thought I would be ok for maravan - RED October was going well and my hip had survived. However, just over a week ago, my left hip decided to join the other one in misbehaving and I can't walk without pain, let alone attempt any sort of run. So I'm declaring myself AWOL. So sorry DeeGee, I do love your maravan and would be there if I could but unless you can arrange a miracle...... |
