Started with 3x10 today. I do a few sets of push ups occasionally for general fitness but interested to see how far I can take this :)

Did 3 X 11 tonight as part of my exercise routine. Actually managed 22 on the last set, so I should be able to go a few more nights before this gets difficult.

I've bombed out on this a bit. I seem to have pulled something sort of right side of the abs. It's not affecting running at all but it's a bit sore when I do planks or press ups so I'm giving it a few days off and see how it goes.

I forgot all about them yesterday, only remembering at 10pm in the middle of a Frank Turner concert (so I didn't do them then and there). Just did my 3 x 11 today and just made it through. It was made harder by my 2yr old trying to climb on my back on the 9th push up of the final set. I really did find them hard today but it's probably the most push ups I've done since I was 12.

Hey all.

That was tougher this morning, 3 x 12 done but after a late night of drinks and a steady 13 miler this morning I guess it was going to be!

Jingle best to give it a few days as you say.

Well done others, I guess now we will all start feeling it during the next few days.

3 x 12 done this evening. Did them after a long run in the dark along the Thames Towpath. Found the last few of the third set a bit harded :-)

Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
