I train without sugars / gels but at London I want to have a steady supply of sugar to get me round.

I have used jelly babies in the past but they melted into sticky goo.

What do you use? Any suggestions for sugar sources I can nibble on through what will be quite a long time for me?

Advice is train with what you will run with, don't do anything new on race day. Long training runs, I used to eat chomps/fudges. Ultras done on weetabix and sugar in the past....less practical at Canary Wharf, I'll agree :-)

jelly babies only melt in wet conditions I found......otherwise fine....I use rowntrees fruity jellies now...but as KJT says, train with them as well

M+S Percy Pigs - much less sticky than jelly babies and less sickly too
I don't do gels or fancy drinks, just normal things like sweeties and water

Top idea, DeeGee? Can one purchase a "biscuit hat"? Like those hats with beer and a drinking tube, except with biscuits and a biscuit delivery mechanism?
