Marathon Kit bag - how big is it?

mjoyeux Apr 2013 7:47pm, 4 Apr 2013 44 posts	0 mjoyeux Just wondering about getting stuff sorted for London. I understand that you get a bag to put your kit in and then put into baggage. Is this true and if so, how big is it?

clairevmc Apr 2013 8:00pm, 4 Apr 2013 2,042 posts	0 clairevmc It's not huge. Maybe about 2 feet x 1 foot. You won't get a suitcase or anything like that in it (I don't think they'd take something that big from memory anyway) but you'll fit a change of clothes in it easily.

I use my 25l rucksack because it's much easier to carry about than those plastic bag / rope affairs. And then just at the last minute perform the switcheroo and put my rucksack inside the plastic bag for the baggage truck. They're pretty massive, much bigger than Claire's estimate above. Complete change of clothes = no problem.
