Ok, if I were to be completely silly and try for a marathon in every remaining month of 2013 can anyone come up with suggestions for the missing months? I live in the North West and preferable to travel within about 50 mile radius.

MAR - Bolton Hill (done)
APR - Greater Manchester (done)
MAY - Brathay
JUN - ??
JUL - Coniston
AUG - ??
SEP - Great Langdale
OCT - Yorkshire (booked)
NOV - ??
DEC - ??

November's got five days in Rivington. You can do any one of those. Of course, if you've already done Bolton Hill, then it's maybe not perfect.

December's rare. You might have to commute a bit. I take it you're happy with LDWA events, though?

Should you not be sleeping or something, Foxy?

Anyway, who put MK 50 miles from Manchester?

For what it's worth, buzby, I'm doing Kent Roadrunner and Hertfordshire Hobble in June, and Enigma Gold in August if Foxy banks the cheque (no rush, btw). I'm the other end of the M62 and down a bit, so commuting has to be done.

I really want to organise a marathon in Cleethorpes in November. Although probably not 2013.

Thanks for all the suggestions, foxy this is inspired by the ten in tennners who I could never match but thought ten n ten months is doable even though just started my marathon career this year. I loved bolton hill, much more than greater manchester. Already entered into Saturdays bolton hill for next march. I forgot about phil's Rivington jaunt in November, I will look into that one. Maybe it's over ambitious to actually put the marathon within the calendar month as December is pretty sparse (and busy). LDWA events would be fine, it's abut covering the distance- maybe I could just run the Bolton hill route in the months I am struggling to find an event. Ps Foxy- say hi to Phil, you are all heroes.
