marathon fit in 6 weeks

I've been training for the iron man distances for the long course weekend in june since december. My problem is that I was knocked over by car whilst training on my bike and have been unable to run for the past two weeks. My physio says I can run again by may. Any advice on getting marathon fit in 6 weeks.

Get in the pool tino and keep working on your base fitness-so static cycling/aqua jogging/swimming with a float using your legs..I didn't ahve a marathon to do but last year I smashed my knee and as soon as I could I got back in the pool-landed on knee april 14th and did a half marathon july...lots of pool work!
