Sorry we missed the meet-up - got held up parking and then we had to find the loos - and it transpired the pub wasn't where we thought!! I had a bit of a mare of a race - but Mr AL stormed to a PB despite his shoelaces coming undone and his phone falling into a puddle! Is anyone else's finishing text about a triathlon??? |

I enjoyed that. Ran it at a slower pace than last week's marathon but I'm happy with that, having had a mild virus for a couple of days. A long sleep yesterday afternoon seems to have helped. Great to meet Nelly! Hope you had a good run. |

Well I was right about the weather. Organisation seemed good from my experience - I'm guessing about 5000 runners in the end? Great runs Nelly and Mr al. Obviously credit goes to you AL. Couldn't imagine that a week after a marathon becca. Top stuff. |
