Looking for an ultra

Well more specifically my Brother in Law wants to do one and I said I woud help him and run it with him. Looking to do it before mid November when he turns 30. Ideally around 45-55 miles. Preferably all downhill with a following wind, but more realistically the easier the better. I'm thinking Canal runs etc as opposed to 17 Peak Challenges in flip flops. Any suggestions? Was looking at the Kennet and Avon Canal run in September but no indication if there is a 2013 edition. Other possibilities are the Trail of Herts.
