For me these divide into three categories.

1. People I thought were already dead.
2. People I'd never heard of.
3. Keith Chegwin and David Cassidy.

For me, Brian Cant's death was particularly sad having watched so many of his programmes as a child; i.e. Play Away, Play School, Camberwick Green, Trumpton, etc.

There are many who I haven't heard of either but their departures mean something to others.

I think I've been asleep this year. Brian Cant, John Noakes, Roger Moore, Tom Petty, Sean Hughes I remember hearing about. John Hurt, Graham Taylor, Tara PT, I don't. There's a few I recognise from their photos but didn't know their names, and more I don't recognise at all.

Fetch has also lost one of our best this year
