A reminder that entries are open for the Long Eaton 50 mile ultra on June 11th. Full details are available at longeatonrunningclub.com i spent today running miles 30.5 to 45.5 and it is a really good run - beautiful countryside and some interesting things to see on the way. Entries cost £15/17 and include a souvenier Long Eaton 25th anniversary mug and also a special completer's momento. There is also a 6 stage relay over the same course on the same day, see longeatonrunningclub.com we have plenty of entries left for both events. |

I have just run stages 4 and 5 and it is a lovely course, great scenery and variety. I have uploaded some photographs to facebook, though they are mainly of stiles and waymarkers for route finding. The idea is to link them to the route directions beforehand so that you can be familiar with the odd tricky part. facebook.com |
