Thanks for the kind words Salty Dog - last year was our 25th anniversary so the 5 mile race technical t-shirt and mug were a one-off (we funded it from our profits from previous years). this year it will be just a t-shirt, but the Beer and photographs will still be free. We have put the price back down to £7/9 from $8/10 to compensate. Entry forms will be on our website in the next day or so hopefully. The runners world on-line entry will be open as soon as i can do it, the site was down yesterday when i tried. If you want a mug you will just have to do the 50 miler this year. |

I'm entered - and that's before I looked at the photos of the course! Is there a course plotted somewhere that I can put on my garmin? |

http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-395780 this is a map drawn rather than garmin downloaded course - a bit more accurate. there is one slight difference, at about 35.4 miles we recommend a detour to the toposcope (in the clump of 4 trees) rather than just following the edge of Burley Wood). You will see the paths if you zoom in. there are also a lot of pictures at picasaweb.google.com if my profile comes up just click on the albums link |

it's a good run nightjar, i've done it all except the end of stage 2, and it gets better as you go on. the last 8 or 9 miles is our regular weekend run patch, and i think you will like it.

That's How I saw it, countryside looks better (more varied) as it progresses round. All looks good though.

Chris, is that Dale/Stanton/Ockbrook area? If so then I can thoroughly recommend that part of the route. I also hear the start/finish team are wonderful

last last call - we have 34 runners, 3 teams and unfortunately 4 drop outs. judging by my garden these last few days i would recommend anti-trenchfoot tablets and a machete wonder what this will be like? [IMAGE] the exit stile is in here to be fair it's the worst bit on the course for foliage, and actually there is a path in the vegetation that the photograph hides |
