Just need to hear from someone who was successful, and get them to check their realbuzz account. Presuming that no update = rejection at the moment, I seem to remember last year that was the case - the realbuzz site only got updated later with the rejection outcomes, whereas positive outcomes were updated pdq.

On a similar front, anybody that has had a rejection already, does their real buzz account state they were unsuccessful in the ballot?
Have any rejection emails been received yet?

Why do they wait 6 months to issue the results?
God knows why they do what they do, it really is a ball-ache - Other marathon's early bird prices come and go, hotels sell out, when really i just dont understand why they cant issue the results a lot quicker! Yes they need to allocate GFA and charity places but this surley doesnt take 6 months! The realbuzz mess 2 weeks ago shows the results were ready two weeks ago. The rejection mags arriving today shows the results were definatley ready 1 week ago, but here we are on a monday afternoon, still waiting and imagine some of us will still be waiting come Wednesday

I've seen one successful applicant with a magazine post on facebook that his realbuzz account isn't showing any signs of success. But also he reports that when he checked realbuzz a week or so ago he was one of the ones with a bib number allocated, and it matches the bib number that he has now got.
So if you didn't check a week or so ago, checking today won't tell you anything one way or another. But if you did check whilst the "testing" was going on it might well be the case that what you saw then (either a bib number = success, or nothing = rejection) will be borne out in the magazine you receive.

larkim - that's interesting, it did seem likely that that was an inadvertent flicking of a "make public" switch and not just some random testing! Unfortunately I didn't check at the relevant time.
Still waiting, but already looking for a Plan B for a Spring marathon. I see Düsseldorf is on the same date and I reckon I could sort travel and accommodation for not much more than the cost of London ...

I've seen a few people with successful magazines who have been allocated the same bib number that appeared on realbuzz last week. They don't have any clues in their realbuzz account at the moment, the numbers haven't reappeared. The payment link doesn't go live until the 10th so London Marathon have removed that route to finding out.

Yep, I didn't really believe them when they said it was just testing - too "real".
I don't know whether I checked mine in time, but if you expect a rejection you can only be pleasantly surprised!!
