Maybe, but I think it will be much more driven by other things!

I'd be more than happy if they decided to post the numbers out!
Can't actually see it happening though in reality.

Has anyone clicked on the 'Withdraw' button on the latest email yet?
I can't make the October date so have to defer to 2021. If I do that now I assume you have to pay at the same time. But if the marathon can't take place in October then I'm guessing everyone will get a free deferral to next year, so in that case deferring now would be a waste of another entry fee

Trin - I've seen a few questions to VLM regarding what happens in the case that the Oct 2020 race doesn't go ahead. Most people have concluded the same as you. VLM are saying that they are not ready to discuss what'll happen in the case the Oct 2020 doesn't go ahead.
Sorry, that doesn't help you but I agree with your conclusion - it could be cheaper to sit and wait for Oct 2020 to be cancelled rather than pay to defer....if you assume that all 2020 entrants will get a 2021 entry in this case. That's yet to be seen!!!

I would not assume that if 2020 gets cancelled totally we will all get a free pass to 2021 - its possible but far from a dun deal I think

It looks like you can defer up to the October date. Did you get the email minardi? I got one on the 14th April

Keith, they could risk further pi$$ing off a lot of already very pi$$ed off people if they completely cancel and don't at least discount the entry for 2021

Maybe. We shall see. Just not betting on a complete roll over. Depends on their insurance and how strong their reserves are I guess.
