Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

get your money back Baz and re-book as you need. There may be no airline industry in the near future and better to have the refunds now....

I agree. Mrs axe applied for a voucher though so too late. We didn’t pay much and used air miles.

Has anyone had an email about taking up your place in October, or deferring or getting a refund?

You're automatically given a place in October, the system for the other two options isn't due to open till early April. You should of received this email; virginmoneylondonmarathon.com

New email today; "We'll be in touch this week

We will email you later this week with more details on the options available to you if you are unable to take part in the rescheduled 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon. If you are planning to participate on Sunday 4 October, you don't need to do anything – your existing place is secure."

It has to be said I'm getting increasingly gloomy about the chances of it happening this year. It might be 6 months away but the idea of a gathering over 40,000+ people in London this year seems hopeless :(

There is simply no plan for ending this. All the talk of a couple of months was just pie in the sky.

i wonder if when they get the replies from their email about those who can/cannot take part in october if that will influence their decision as to what to do?
