Yep Lord Fetch. Pick it up at Cotmanhey and turn left until I see Long Eaton on the horizon. Then turn round and head back to civilization.

In which case, I will try to keep an eye out for you, if I make it out. Probably between 8 and 9am.

I am having the same motivational issues Nicholls (and occasionally running along the same canal!) not helped by having a year plagued with knee issues.

I think that the organisers want the government to make the decision and so do I - at least that way people can claim on travel insurance if they have it.

Ashby 20 is on Sunday and I don't think it should be going ahead, it's not the running but the portaloos without hand sanitizer, the loos in the coffee shops that people use that run out of soap, the use of public places like the sports centre. Most of the people who have the virus and are spreading it probably won't know that they do. I don't blame the organisers for not cancelling because if they make the decision their insurance won't cover any of their costs.

Organisers of our local half marathon are asking runners to bring their own toilet paper because they cannot source any locally.

Totriornottotri - you keep quoting half a million dead and 4 million infections. Where are you getting that from?

I'm more concerned about being able to wash my hands than wipe my btm!

"Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer, said that worst-case scenario planning projected that 80% of the country would contract the virus, with a 1% mortality rate. This equates to more than 500,000 deaths."

22 pointless miles for me tomorrow. I’m more concerned about my son taking his GCSE’s this year atm though 🙁
