Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good news for all recipients and I hope those left on the settee are not waiting for much longer.

Planning to do a frame for our medals do that we can show both sides along with the numbers. Will be putting the itab somewhere within the design. Sadly no race day pics ( pre sunrise and wet ) to include but, those mile markers are still wrapped around several lampposts in the ‘village’ just waiting for a selfie.

Hope everyone on the sofa gets their medal and shirt soon. They are really lovely and worth the wait!

I had a ballot place and was a bit sniffy about the virtual having trained twice for a race that didnt really end up happening the way I wanted but ended up really enjoying it and glad we did have the chance to get the medal etc. At the small race I did, people wore their official numbers on the front and then there were quite a few (including me) wearing London numbers on the back. Even saw a few in fancy dress which was quite a sight splashing through mud on the North Downs Way. Lots of 'go on London' which was really cheering.

I'm pleased so many of you have got your packages today. There's been quite a number delivered!

The paper envelopes are not robust enough for such precious contents. Mine was ripped when it arrived but not enough to enable anything to fall out. The design needs a re-think if there is going to be a virtual option in future years.

I was impressed with the lack of plastic though.
