I don’t see the issue with people having medals if they paid for and entered and dns/dnf the race. I agree it’s not ideal but at the end of the day I have over 100 medals I reckon scattered about the house. Other than on the way home from a race I have never worn them if looked at them.

Big G, personally I’d have no issue letting people stop at a marathon as long as they are listed in the results as having run a marathon and get a marathon medal not an ultra one. If there is an issue with having the right number of medals, they could have the same one for both distances and have different ribbons for each distance, which would be cheaper.

All my medals are on display, though not as good a display as your one CW.

FDNB, I'm not 100% sure about the medals - maybe it is just different ribbons that they have. I know that the shirts are different for each of the two events as they have the respective distances printed on the back.

Shirts is tricky. I wouldn’t want a shirt (or medal or anything else) that said I had done something I hadn’t.

I'm still waiting too, but I'm avoiding the sofa to stop myself eating the biscuits. Where did you get the display boxes CW?

CW - you will need a bigger box for this one.
