Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I came in position 16041. I’ve done some stalkery and found someone who took 23:05 in position 17918. On the Marathon news page, at 20:40 last night, it says 28,000 have completed the event so far with 45,000 entered. I find it hard to believe that 10,000 people took longer than 23:05.
I suspect there are still times to be submitted. It’s a big drop-out rate otherwise.

I’m gradually sinking down the results. 4pm yesterday I was 11028, today I’m 21129. Hopefully most of the 45,000 managed to complete.

Not too sore today, just a bit achy all over.

They have put me in the next category up for some reason. If I was already 70 I would have been 52nd in my age category!
