Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good luck all. I’ll be running 13.1 miles away from my fridge, turning round, then 13.1 back (26268).

Best of luck to all runners! I’ll be cheering you from the couch. Had I not seen the physio I’d be tempted to give it a go as feeling loads better. But I know that’s a dumb idea (and Mrs PH wouldn’t be impressed) so sensible approach it is.

Enjoy yourselves out there and don’t end up broken!

Lap 1 done. 23 more to go! Feeling great so far, and the app seems to be working well... though I think it'll be a few laps before I stop being paranoid about it!

3 laps in, and so far it seems that the app measures a bit less generously than my Garmin. Garmin 3.62 miles so far, app 3.48. Glad I've got a couple of buffer laps at the end.

Seems that there are a few bugs with the app and it doesn't cope with people running in different time zones to London. Also various people having it crash on them.

The VMLM social media people have a long 24 hours ahead. Sympathy for those poor souls, not for the fools who thought an app being released a couple of days before the event with no way of testing it was a good idea.
