Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Think I’ll be lube everywhere after my last sodden race when I was chaffed to tears! Whilst taking a spare top and maybe jacket in my rucksack

Planning to start by 7am which currently has almost 90% chance Of rain!

Good job skin's waterproof eh? I think a lot of us will be in for a soaking. I usually remind myself that I'll be getting wet when I get home anyway - looking forward to a hot shower.

I think I’ll watch the elite women set off at 7.15 and then get going on my first loop. Terrible weather forecast here too. I’m going to do as much as I feel like doing and no more!

True skin is waterproof but 8hrs of wet can make for a cold run
But I’ll be looking forward to a hot bath followed by pizza

I find having something to look forward to like that helps Pixie. Do you not have a waterproof jacket? I can stay quite toasty in a long sleeved merino top and my OMM waterproof and I feel the cold badly. I agree, eight hours of wet and cold would be very miserable making. Would your husband meet you somewhere with a change of clothes and a hot drink? Or is it worth considering a couple of loops so you can pop in at home and change?
