57.5 Degrees of Pain
But it might change the actual times required to be in those 3000. However, as someone pointed out on another thread, if there were way less champs qualifiers that would swell the numbers looking for GFA.

The GFA requirements for 2020 are up on the website now (though curiously all the other 'How to Enter' pages refer to 2019). I don't know if there are any changes from the 2019 GFA requirements - it doesn't look like it.

Hoping my 3:23 will be enough under the required 3:45 for a male 60+ (but not counting chickens yet, having thought I had got in this year before they belatedly changed the age definitions).

I'm always slightly bemused by the fact that the quali window runs only until early August, when in reality very few marathons will be run after early June. Why not allow October marathons (of which there are many) to count too, there's surely enough time to allocate the places, especially as they have the 3000 cap limit.

For someone like me who doesn't fancy a spring marathon, it puts a decent chunk of time between potential GFA achievement and application, and (as last time) also gives them time to change the rules with no ability to go out and try to run a faster time.

But, it's their race, their rules - and I'm not sure I even want to bother running it anyway!

I don't think you'll have any issues with that time Dibble.

After they changed the times on the day after the marathon a couple of years ago it's a big improvement to have confirmation of the times in advance.
