Can't believe I've only just found this.... anyone else listen to the BBC LOD podcast? Listened to a bit today, and they seem to think that Hastings might be H. I don't, though but there seem to be some unfinished bits (for the next series, I guess). Do we think that Hastings did tip off PC-in-prison (can't remember his name) about Corbett? Otherwise why did he go there?

I think it’s unlikely Hastings would still be leading AC12 after his mistakes.

I agree with Meglet, except he has plot armour - it’d spoil the series to take him out of it :) . But then, plausibly, it could either be that he is H and has some leverage to keep himself in post, or that whoever actually is H is keeping him in place because H has leverage on him, or actually wants somebody a bit incompetent in that role.

A season with Hastings out of the force and stirring things up outside could be fun, though.

I have no idea what Hastings was up to in the prison. I doubt Mercurio has made his mind up either, frankly!

We saw him on Regent Street on Thurs! He's shorter than I thought. I have to admit to saying 'mother of God'.
