Oh FR, did it ever occur to you that Fetch is not the be all and end all of runners ?

Not every serious runner logs training on here

Thanks for the advice IanM. More easy miles. Go over (I'm hoping to get up to 15, but definitely at least 14 in one of my remaining two long runs). Ignore training plans that get you racing the distance before the race.

Perhaps this thread would have been less contentious if I'd restricted the question to:

Do I need a) a longer tempo run on one of my weekday sessions or b) just a couple more long genuinely slow runs. I've decided that the answer is b).

I do hope no one has been genuinely upset by this as it seems a little more, erm serious, than the question warranted. (And yes, I know, it's not all about me).

Don't worry about it OJ it's good to vent opinions. I have actually had a mini re-think as a result of this thread too. tops!

btw once you get past 100 Fetch post then we (traditionally) can be rude to you :-)
