Two long climbs separated by a nice decent ... one on Stonegate Rd and the other on the Ring Road. From half way its downhill or flat. Last 5K are the same as the returnleg of the Abbey Dash (although finish is further down the Headrow and round the corner). Looking forward to it although not hugely fit at the moment, so may try an "easy 10M and fast 5K" combo. We'll see on the day. |

If you're doing this, I'll marshalling the start/finish area - so come and say hi if you like. Not sure what I'm doing yet, but I'll try and give some shouts of abuse...err I mean encouragement!

morning all ... the weather looks reasonable for a run though maybe not spectating, 15 degrees and light rain, so with any look those that are aiming for PBs will get them

15 degrees is a bit warm! Hoping it doesn't rain too much. Not sure if having friends round for dinner is considered ideal race prep...

Should be perfect pb weather for running this morning - make sure you don't overdress though - it'll warm up by the end! Might be a bit cool and wet for marshalling - I'm taking my fell gear just in case! |

fell gear, wet weather gear, cold weather gear, warm weather gear ... all the same to me fozzy ... I save a fortune on running kit and everyday clothes

LA - I'm only taking it because I'm marshalling and not running! If I were running (and part of me still wishes I was despite my legs feeling like lead yesterday) , it's definitely shorts and vest only weather today. |
