I do it most years and 'technical t-shirt' actually puts me off. I've always been glad of the cotton one at this race. And I ran in my 2011 one this morning, as it happens. The t-shirt isn't free though, is it? It's £20 quid or some such to enter the race

I'm not interested in the free technical tshirt. Last year they ran out of small tshirts even though I finished in under an hour. And then some kind person swapped with me but it was still too large as it was 'unisex'. Now, if it was a decent tshirt with ladies fittings and they didn't run out of sizes that would be better, but I enter most years anyway. |

I have done Dewsbury once, it was a bit bleak at 9.30am on a Sunday morning. Then again so is Bolton town centre
