Fireworks to be restricted to named occasions in the year (5th November, Diwali, New Year's Eve and a couple of others - can't think which right now), publicised in advance, in organised displays only, and silent.

(My dog is now relaxing after a ninth consecutive night of loud bangs that send his heart-rate up to scary levels.)

All people should have to go for a walk once a day and just chill out.

Politicians who make promises in the run-up to an election should, if elected, have a short specified period within which to fulfil those promises. Failure to be punished with confiscation of all personal assets and some form of painful and protracted public execution.

Above to include those who just fall into post without any of the bother of a general election.
Those who just draw a salary for years without turning up to work because the other people in the office aren't nice to them need the same, with exile somewhere nasty. Like Pluto.

1. Use of memes for anything other than comedy to be punishable by death
1a. Comedy does not include personal attacks on politicians which are non-specific, and quite probably racist
2. If you have posted fake news and someone points it out, you shall justify or remove it
3. Do not expect people to do your homework for you, if you tell a doctor he's wrong about de-funding of the NHS, have some sort of reason for your objection, check that he is wrong and you are right, because you're calling him a liar, and he's in quite a good position to be able to speak on the issue, whereas you are an ignoramus with too few teeth.

Contravening any of these laws will be punishable by 31 days in a small cell with Piers Morgan

Every general election voting form should have "none of the above" as a legitimate option, so you can cast your vote and it not be dismissed as 'spoilt'

Wriggling Snake
I would ban the 10,000 steps fetish, it means nothing, the idea is to constantly move for half an hour a day...much, much more beneficial, rather than shuffling off to make a cup of tea.

The Mighty Fleecy
Actually I think about 3000 is the lower limit to not actively harm your health, I went to a talk by the Expert. Also, cadence is important. And there’s a difference between breaking up sedentary time and engaging in physical activity which is hard for even the experts to unpick. Lots of controversy in this area.
