I did a couple of the spring races this year and my finger is hovering over the spring series entry at the moment.

My fingers must have slipped last night, I seem to have booked the whole series, including July, despite swearing I would not do any long runs next year !

Photos are on the website - and look well worth waiting for. The Sunday ones, in particular, are fantastic :)

Is the race suitable for a first marathon?

Wanting to do a marathon in July 2012 time, and have just started winter base training last week. Have done half marathons last year and this year, including Eyam (very hilly).

Thanks

Suitable is probably a difficult thing to decide, but I had a friend do it as their first marathon and had a decent run.
